1138 Ellis

This is the house in Bellingham, WA that Ben Gibbard lived in while he was attending Western Washington University, where he started Death Cab For Cutie. The address is mentioned in his solo song “Dinner at Eight in the Suburbs”, recorded as All-Time Quarterback.

Today I was also able to hear the sound of “the air on Railroad” and see “the shopfronts on Holly,” both mentioned in the song “A Movie Script Ending”.
