After some thought, I’ve been considering a change in format for my personal blog. Rather than posting disparate thoughts and feelings (those are what paper journals are for), rather than posting what I’m doing at the moment (that’s what Twitter is for), rather than posting photos and MP3s quite as often (that’s what Tumblr is for), my feeling is that I should turn this into a space for essays. Perhaps some personal, but then also some not. Some fictional perhaps. I also feel it should be a space to which I invite others to submit their writing (something I’ve been thinking about doing for a while).
I don’t know how long I will feel this way. But then, I don’t know for how long I feel any particular way, so there’s no specific harm.
